Each month, we'll choose a local charity to support.
Driving Change with Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh
Starting in 2017, any non-political charitable organization with a qualifying IRS 501c3 designation is eligible to participate or be considered for support as part of this program.
The monthly outreach program by Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh will award the charity with a ‘one-time’ gift as follows:
- Check for $500
- Logo placement and/or recognition within the website.
Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh is hoping that this effort will allow a variety of groups and organizations to get recognized for their hard work and dedication to our community. Triangle Women In STEM
For the month of May, we're donating $500 in support of Triangle Women in STEM's STEM Day at Duke University.
Triangle Women in STEM is a partnership of women in STEM careers from a myriad of industries, academia, government, and non-profits, and is hosting a free day of STEM activities at Duke University May 17. Triangle Women in STEM is an NCBiotech Center Intellectual Exchange Group (IEG).

Reelin' For Research
This month, we're donating $50 for every car sold to Reelin' for Research.
Reelin' for Research is a one-day fishing tournament that raises money to help find a cure for childhood cancers. Held May 3, 2025, roughly 70 boats will compete annually, making Reelin' for Research one of the largest fishing tournaments on the East Coast. Even more, Reelin' for Research has grown beyond the tournament, becoming a year-round fundraising effort with over $7.3 million raised to date - all for childhood cancer research.

St. Baldrick's Foundation
In place of our monthly charity vote this month, for March, we are donating $500 to St. Baldrick's Foundation, whose mission is a volunteer and donor-powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. It's a national event each year where participants raise money in their local communities and then come together and celebrate while getting their heads shaved in solidarity for childhood cancer.

Infinite Lifestyle Solutions
This month, we're donating $500 to Infinite Lifestyle Solutions in support of their work with the NC Teen Center, providing a safe place to spend time after school. During these hours, students can engage in therapeutic activities like art and yoga, tutoring and other enrichment opportunities.

Triangle Beagle Rescue of NC
This month, we're donating $500 to Triangle Beagle Rescue. Triangle Beagle Rescue has been successfully rescuing beagles since 1999. Operating solely out of foster homes, without a physical shelter location, Triangle Beagle Rescue has rescued more than 4,000 beagles and is dedicated to bringing together humans and hounds for a lifetime of love.

Second Chance Pet Adoptions
This month, we're donating $500 to Second Chance Pet Adoptions, the oldest no-kill rescue organization in Wake County. At Second Chance, their mission is to champion homeless cats and dogs who are healthy or treatable in the quest to find their forever homes and engage with our community to promote responsible pet ownership – ultimately reducing future generations of homeless animals.

Rotary Club of North Raleigh
This month, we're donating $500 to the Rotary Club of North Raleigh in support of their annual Jack Andrews Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament benefits scholarships and LaunchRALEIGH entrepreneur program graduates. Created by the Rotary Club of North Raleigh, LaunchRALEIGH strives to develop successful entrepreneurs who have limited access to financial and business resources.

HUBZone Technology Initiative
HUBZone Technology Initiative (HTI) acquires functional laptops, donated by individuals, organizations and businesses, and converts them to Google Chromebooks. They partner with communities to get them into the hands of those who need them for educational and professional advancement.

The Salvation Army of Chatham County
This month, we're donating $500 to The Salvation Army of Chatham County in support of their annual golf tournament. All monies raised for this tournament and all of their events stay in Chatham County to help those that might be in need. They can help with past-due rental or mortgage payments, past-due utility bills, medications, clothing and basic everyday needs that residents might face in a crisis.

Note in the Pocket
We're donating $500 to Note in the Pocket, a Triangle organization that combats clothing insecurity for kids by setting them up for success by giving them the clothes they need for school.
Note in the Pocket students are given a wardrobe of sneakers, new underwear and socks, five bottoms and 10 mix-and-match shirts.

Pretty in Pink Foundation
Celebrating 20 years of service, Pretty In Pink Foundation has supported thousands of breast cancer patients across North Carolina. With a vision to ensure every patient receives necessary medical treatment regardless of their financial situation, the foundation provides crucial financial assistance to uninsured and under-insured patients, ensuring access to quality, life-saving care.

Reelin' For Research

Entering into its second century, the English-Speaking Union is dedicated to increasing its national and international leadership in education and exchange through scholarships and programs for students like the National Shakespeare Competition and the Secondary School Exchange.

Wake County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #41
For January's charity donation, Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh helped out local children in need by donating $600 to the Wake County Fraternal Order of Police's Lodge #41. This money was donated in December in support of their shop with the police force campaign for the holidays.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Mid-Atlantic Region
For the month of October, we're donating $500 to Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority's Eastern Carolina Cluster's meeting. In keeping with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® mission of service to all mankind, the sorority is establishing a disaster relief fund to assist North Carolina and Virginia members who have experienced a natural disaster.

The Salvation Army of Chatham County
This month, we're donating $500 to The Salvation Army of Chatham County in support of their first-ever golf tournament. All monies raised for this tournament and all of our events stay in Chatham County to help those that might be in need. They can help with past-due rental or mortgage payments, past due utility bills, medications, clothing and basic everyday needs that residents might face in a crisis.

This month, we're donating $500 to Children's Flight of Hope. Children's Flight of Hope provides flights to specialized medical care for children in need. The children they serve face rare and complex diseases that cannot be treated close to home, and through the kindness of others, they're able to provide hope and healing.

Military Missions in Action
This month, in celebration of July 4th, we're donating $500 to Military Missions in Action, based in Fuquay-Varina. Founded in 2008, Military Missions in Action (MMIA) is dedicated to assisting Veterans with disabilities, homeless veterans and members of the armed forces and their families.

Wake County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #41 Cops and Kids
This month, we're donating $1,000 to the Wake County Fraternal Order dof Police Lodge #41 and their Cops and Kids program. Cops and Kids is taking Wake County children who are less fortunate, in foster care or disabled back-to-school shopping. Police officers personally escort the kids to buy school clothes, shoes and socks, backpacks and more to give them a fresh start to the school year.

Boys and Girls Clubs
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties
In place of our monthly charity vote this month, for May, we are donating $500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties, in support of their 2023 Push for Great Futures Giving Day May 18th. All proceeds from the Push for Great Futures will go towards providing top-notch summer camp for youth who otherwise would not be able to afford or access a similar experience during the out-of-school summertime months.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties (BGCDOC) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and protecting children while preserving the beauty and innocence of childhood. We aim to make a fundamental difference in the lives of all youth, but especially those who need guidance the most by providing a safe alternative for youth between the ages of 6 and 18.

In place of our monthly charity vote this month, for April, we are donating $500 to the Autism Society of North Carolina, whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals with autism, support their families and educate communities. Their services and programs are tailored to these individuals' unique essentials, many of whom have significant lifelong needs - and help them be as independent as possible and achieve their goals and dreams.

JDRF'S mission is to lead the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies and providing a support network for millions worldwide impacted by T1D. They have championed technology with that goal in mind, from the first engineered insulin 40 years ago to recent advancements like artificial pancreas systems and more.

Poe Center
The Poe Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to positively impacting the lives of North Carolina youth through health education. Since opening in Raleigh in 1991, the Poe Center has educated more than 1.3 million participants from 94 counties.
Our expert health educators partner with schools and organizations across the state to provide health education to children and adults. Engaging programs are available on nutrition and physical activity, adolescent development, general health, substance use prevention, dental health, bullying prevention, mental wellness, and cooking and gardening education. Poe's field trip destination in Raleigh is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience featuring unique teaching spaces. Health educators can also bring programs directly to a school or organization and supplemental resources are available online. Over 87% of program participants report making positive behavior changes after a program with the Poe Center.

The Senior Center and The Candy Cane Stroll
In place of our monthly local charity vote this month, we are donating $500 to The Senior Network and the Candy Cane Stroll for December. The Candy Cane Stroll benefits two nonprofits: The Senior Network is a ministry that finds and fulfills seniors' needs in local churches and surrounding communities in Wake Forest, NC. The other is Made4Me which helps those families with special needs members.

Raleigh Dream Center
In place of our monthly local charity vote this month, for November, we are donating $500 to the Raleigh Dream Center, whose mission is to provide residential and community outreach programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high-risk youth, individuals and families. This holiday season, they aim to raise $30,000 to provide 2,500 holiday meals to underprivileged families.

In place of our monthly local charity vote this month, for October, we are donating $500 to the Pretty In Pink Foundation Raleigh, whose mission is to provide uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients in North Carolina with financial assistance for quality, life-saving medical treatment.

Wake County, North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #41
In place of our monthly local charity vote this month, for September, we are donating $1,000 to Wake County Lodge 41 Cops and Kids, whose mission is to conduct their "Cops and Kids" back-to-school shopping trip for our less fortunate, foster care and disabled school children here in Wake County. The police officers will personally escort the children shopping or purchase and provide the children with various supplies, including but not limited to: school clothes, shoes, socks, underclothing, school supplies and book bags.

Saving Grace
We are joining animal lovers across the nation in donating to shelters and rescues this month in honor of what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday on January 17th. She was an animal lover, and we want her legacy to live beyond her life. So, in place of our monthly local charity vote, for January, we are donating $500 to Saving Grace NC, whose mission is to provide adoptable dogs that need a second chance and provide a more natural and non-traditional shelter environment for dogs to interact with others while awaiting their forever homes.

Rotary Club of North Raleigh
This November, we are donating $500 to the Rotary Club of North Raleigh and Jack Andrews Golf Tournament, whose mission is to provide students who demonstrate Rotary Values of "Service above self" and are deserving of additional funds for their schooling. This year they are also raising money to fund middle school scholarships for computer camp classes that will be offered by the Kramden Institute next summer.

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle pioneers innovative, transformative solutions designed to end hunger in our community. They are a nonprofit organization and a member of the Feeding America National Network of Food Banks. The Food Shuttle recovers and distributes nearly 6 million pounds of food per year and teaches skills for self-sufficiency, including culinary job skills, shopping and cooking healthy on a budget, and how to grow food to create a hunger-free and healthy community.

Bridge The Gap Mission
Bridge The Gap Mission is a 100% volunteer-based non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for low-income and disadvantaged residents of the southeast Raleigh area. While helping provide for immediate needs like clothing and household items, we also provide educational programs and activities and organized special events that aim to enhance community involvement that builds pride and self-initiative.

No Kid Hungry | North Carolina
No Kid Hungry North Carolina was formed in 2011 in partnership with state leaders and the national No Kid Hungry campaign, which is a program of the nonprofit organization Share Our Strength. We collectively connect kids in need with nutritious food and teach their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. The campaign also engages the public to make ending child hunger a national priority.

NC Restaurant Workers Relief Fund
On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, restaurants and bars throughout North Carolina were ordered to close all dining area services to the public in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The effects were devastating and immediate. Thousands of North Carolinians from the restaurant and hospitality industry were left without jobs or a source of income. They've always served us. Now it's our chance to serve them for a change.

The American Heart Association is a relentless force in the Triangle. They are committed to equitably increasing healthy life expectancy by addressing both physical and mental well-being. Blood pressure, healthy eating, physical activity and mental health are their highest health priorities. The Triangle's Heart Ball supporters help connect, innovate, influence and invest in advancing these efforts to build a foundation of health in our community and ensure everyone lives a longer, healthier life.

The Salvation Army
Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh donated $525 to the Salvation Army in December to match the collection of the staff in November for the 21 families fed at Thanksgiving. The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Their mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. Disabled American Veterans - Dept. of North Carolina

DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways each year. DAV is also a leader in connecting veterans with meaningful employment, hosting job fairs and providing resources to ensure they have the opportunity to participate in the American Dream their sacrifices have made possible. DAV empowers our nation's heroes and their families by helping to provide the resources they need and ensuring our nation keeps the promises made to them.

American Heart Association

The AHA has grown into the nation's oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites our more than 33 million volunteers and supporters as well as our more than 3,400 employees.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don't result in death, they cause disability and diminish quality of life. We want to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Note in the Pocket

Note in the Pocket provides clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County with dignity and love. Note in the Pocket believes that it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school.

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Habitat for Humanity of Wake County

Since 1985, Habitat Wake has partnered with more than 600 families, donors and volunteers to build safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes in all parts of Wake County. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Their vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live and has the opportunity to thrive.

NC K9 Emergency Response Team

NC K9 E.R.T. trains and promotes the working dog for search missions and supports evaluations for search dogs. NC K9 E.R.T. provides highly skilled search teams 24 hours a day, responds to requests from law enforcement, emergency management, fire departments or other official requesting agencies during natural or manmade disasters, drownings, and lost or missing persons in urban and wilderness settings at no cost to the requesting agency.

Camp Corral

Camp Corral is a free, one-of-a-kind summer camp for children of wounded, injured, ill or fallen military service members. Since its founding, in 2011 as a one camp pilot program, Camp Corral has grown over 750%. Over 17,000 children have been served and the program has expanded to 22 camps in 19 states. Although any child from a military family is eligible, registration priority is given to children of wounded, injured, ill or fallen military service members.

Our mission is to activate volunteers to help charitable causes in our local community. Volunteerism benefits the thousands of nonprofit causes that provide necessary services in our community, and provides physical, mental, and emotional benefits to the individuals volunteering.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle

We believe that all children should have the opportunity to succeed in life and live up to their full potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle was founded in 1998 and is one of the national organization's top mentoring agencies in the country, serving more than 1,000 of these children each year. Our purpose is for every child to have the opportunity to succeed in life and live up to their full potential.

Military Missions In Action

Military Missions In Action is dedicated to assisting veterans, members of the armed forces and their families. The primary focus of MMIA is to provide home modification services to disabled veterans to allow them to live independently (services are not restricted to those injured in combat nor is it restricted to disabled veterans from the most recent combat conflicts). MMIA has assisted veterans from the current conflict back to WWII.

Make A Wish® of Eastern North Carolina

Make-A-Wish® serves a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
