The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE has all new bumpers and lamps as well as a new AMG Line exterior option. There are two new colors for the GLE: Twilight Blue Metallic and MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey.
Engine (Power)
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE comes with an electrified powertrain, including options for a plug-in hybrid and standard hybrid. A 48-volt Integrated Starter Generator adds power to the GLE's already impressive performance. There are four engine options: GLE 450 e, GLE 350 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC, and GLE 580 4MATIC. The GLE 450 e comes with an inline four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid engine that offers up to 381 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. A 2.0-liter inline four-sylinder turbocharged engine with a 48-volt mild hybrid system in the GLE 350 4MATIC offers up to 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The GLE 350 4MATIC can go from zero to 60 mph in just 7 seconds. The GLE 450 4MATIC comes with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that offers up to 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The GLE 450 4MATIC can go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. With plenty of power, the GLE 580 4MATIC comes with a 4.0-liter V-8 biturbo engine with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that offers up to 510 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The GLE 580 4MATIC can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Every engine for the 2024 GLE is electronically limited at 130 mph.
Performance
With the available Off-Road Engineering package, the GLE becomes more rugged. The GLE580 4MATIC is highly functional without the package but becomes even more versatile when you add it. This package also improves the ground clearance, adds an off-roading drive mode, and improves the protection of the SUV's underbody. Another impressive feature that comes with the Off-Road Engineering package is the transparent hood function, which allows you to see through the hood using a virtual view. Interior
